Contemporary and talented female lyricist Azelia Banks has released an official video for the track 1991. Her debut album titled Broke With Expensive Taste is set to be released later this year, given her skyrocketing popularity she will probably name her second album a bit differently.
After listening for about five times to Funkineven and Fatima’s new track Phone Line, I decided to post it. Their sound is very fresh and different, yet very dance floor friendly.. The Phone Line EP is out now on Eglo Records, single available on iTunes.
I tweeted this track a few hours ago. Now I’ve listened to it about five times and decided to post about it as well. Oddience is a hip-hop and soul music collective based in Los Angeles. The flow of the lyrics, the relaxed energy of the beat, and the raspy vocals makes this track remarkably good. Can’t wait for more music by Oddience.
I am starting to feel a cold coming on so i need some slower, soulful music for tonight. Fortunately Dwele, a favorite soul singer and songwriter, is out with a new one.
As a big fan of intelligent and original hip hop, I’ve been listening to the talented Kero One for a long time. Check out his fresh and creative video below.
Smooth hip-hop for a relaxing Saturday afternoon. French electro pop duo Destronics joins forces with 17-year old boy genius Chateaubriand, the remix by Lyon based PleasureLove is just too good. Remember to check out the original as well which has more of a housy feel.
Kero One from San Fransisco produces quality hip hop non stop. How cute is the dark haired girl in the video by the way.
When Gucci Vump Guillaume is not bromancing he rocks in music act The Shoes. Check out the hip hop remix featuring a wild bunch of musical poets.
Notorious BIG gets a tropical remix, sounds a bit crazy right? Don’t judge a track based on it’s premise, this one is just so smooth. Love the tropical elements.
