Its been a perfect summer day in Helsinki and as it is Friday evening I decided to post something with energy. Beautiful, minimalistic and joyful are adjectives that spring to mind when listening to Bristol based producer Crackazat’s tribal house track.

I love Tiger Of Sweden’s slim and short shirts, which are perfect for wearing over your jeans or chinos. Wearing shirts outside of your jeans is very comfortable and stylish providing you have a shirt which is made with that purpose in mind. Out of the normal darker shades I personally prefer midnight blue which is more versatile and yet often overlooked because of the more common black.

I can’t get enough of chinos in fresh colors. Filippa K is a favorite brand which rely on classic and functional Scandinavian design.

Great synths and bassline, coupled with the charismatic voice of Mike Ladd make this remix by Com Truise very special. The original is taken from Belgian duo Arsenal’s fourth album Lokemo.

These dark olive green chinos from Swedish fashion brand Whyred comes with elastic bands on both sides of the waist for added wear-ability. I like the look which is kind of 50’s with a modern spinn.

Italian DJ and producer LVCA gets remixed by paisano Scuola Furano. Nice energetic house track, the EP is available on Beatport also featuring remixes by Tuxxedo and Gabriell. I love the look of combining pastel green with white as in the Zara picture below. Eagle eye viewers have probably noticed that lechehelsinki’s background colour is in fact pastel green which may explain the affection.

One of the best DJ acts i ever witnessed was Osunlade at Flow Festival 2005 in Helsinki. His incredible tribal house drums filled a packed brick warehouse with jungle energy. Todd Terje has made a successful venture into tribal house with his latest remix of Bepi N’ Gali, very danceable, impossible to sit still with the intensive drumming.

Zara has a great line of chinos for this summer, my personal favorites are these light pink ones in cotton. Effortlessly stylish.
