Sneakers belong to the spring. Personally I’ve always been a fan of white sneakers but i am really tempted by these blue ones by Adidas. I feel that you can combine sneakers with basically anything, personally i would go with worn jeans or chinos combined with a fresh shirt. Today’s cool and dark downtempo house track comes from Norwegian Finnebassen, with a sample from beautiful Aaliyah.

Toronto based Parallels fresh EP called Time Will Crawl is now on soundcloud available for listening and sharing. Stylish synthpop and disco with nice vocals, my personal favorite is the track called Moonlight Desires.
I like the look by J. Lindeberg, combine worn jeans with a well cut wool jacket. Keep the tie for the office, switch it for a nice handkerchief when going out later .

Spring in Helsinki has brought a trend of styled and colored handkerchiefs worn with suits and jackets. Suddenly all my jackets feel naked without a nice touch of added colour. The strong purple one by John Henric is a personal favourite.
I have been wwwindow shopping for new glasses for quite some time now. These ones below really caught my eye as i have been looking for a pair of vintage turtle styled glasses. I don’t want the frames to be too thick so these feel like a good compromise. Expectations were high for Jonas Rathsman’s forthcoming mixtape after his previous Februari mixtape. All i can tell you that it was definitely worth the wait. April was released today and you can grab it for free via soundcloud. Be sure to do so and you will be jamming for ages. It contains a lot of deep house tones remixed and revamped, fortunately the good Mr Rathsman has provided us with a track list. Zimmer describes his musical style as Horizontal Disco, which for some reason feels like a suitable description for his elegant tones. This fantastic mixtape by the LA / Paris resident is full of goodies from the likes of Moon Boots, Alpine/Goldroom, Only Children, Helsinki based Zebra and Snake etc…Hard to find a pair of jeans that could do this excellent mixtape justice, but i think these just might do.
