First of all let me start of by apologizing for not blogging so actively lately. The reason for my seldom updates is that I have joined forces with a few friends in order to create a more professional site with a similar focus as lechehelsinki. The new site has been online for a few days so we are still tweaking its functionality, design and content. We decided it was time for an upgrade after receiving so much positive feedback from musicians, fashion brands, and fellow bloggers.
The new site is called Iconsjournal (iconsjournal.com) where we continue to focus on great modern music and contemporary fashion for men. The online magazine features various categories in both music and fashion, we are going to add more sections during this winter as well. We’ve also included the possibility to follow Iconsjournal on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or by subscribing via e-mail. I will continue lechehelsinki at times in order to post great music, and to visit the blogs i like and follow. My main focus will nevertheless be on Iconsjournal from now on, I really hope that you will join us there as well. Thank you so much for all the comments and feedback, I sincerely appreciate them.

First pick from Palmbomens debut album is a laid back tropical treat. The dutch musician himself describes the track somewhere between the lines of 80′s italo disco and 60′s psychedelia. Lets hope the whole album sounds like his description, I’ll be sure to put it on my list of albums to wait for.

In this fall’s line up, Topman presents an interesting double breasted tweed blazer with two buttons. While tweed blazers are no doubt quite comfortable and a bit cool, they need to be coupled with more straight forward fashionable items such as slim jeans and derby shoes. The light green chinos that Topman has chosen for the outfit aren’t half bad either.
Beautiful deep house with soft vocals, going out or staying in really doesn’t matter, this track will make your Friday evening. Beacon is a New York based production duo working on their second EP, this remix by Fort Romeau can be yours for free.
When fall winds and rain rough you up its best to have a coat that’ll be up for the test. Peacoats are versatile and classic making refined outfits more relaxed and relaxed outfits more refined. I love the golden buttons on this prime example by Harbour.
Breakbot has finally released the official video for “One Out Of Two”. The music video drifts along in a hazy David Lynch kind of way, and seems to be part of a longer story. Justice’s Gaspard Auge’s girlfriend Alka Balbir stars as the femme fatale in the video, lets hope the story will be continued in the next video. Breakbot’s long awaited album “By Your Side” will finally be released next week.
